Safety

The Vanta GX analyzer offers robust features in a compact countertop system for safe and reliable precious metals testing. The system uses X-rays in a controlled environment, so users are not exposed to radiation:

• Analyzer locks securely during testing and can only emit X-rays when the lid is closed
• Bright safety lights on the front and back of the instrument indicate when X-rays are being emitted

The Science Behind the Technology

X-ray fluorescence, or XRF, is a nondestructive method for elemental analysis used in our family of Vanta™ analyzers. All Vanta analyzers feature our proprietary Axon Technology™ for enhanced XRF signal processing. Ultra-low-noise electronics push the boundaries of X-ray detector performance, resulting in higher X-ray counts per second and faster, more reliable results.
